Mike Haight

Mike brings 15 years of experience in the power utility industry, specializing in sales, marketing, and training. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with utilities, contractors, developers, and manufacturers across North America, building strong relationships and collaborating on various projects. His expertise includes partnering with engineering teams to develop transmission, distribution, and substation projects, while also addressing the challenges that arise from emerging technologies in the utility sector.

Mike has also spent several years, both directly and as a manufacturer’s representative, working with leading tool and equipment vendors. Much of his time was dedicated to fieldwork, where he trained line crews on the safe and proper use of equipment. He has provided hands-on training to many IBEW members and other field personnel, covering essential topics such as conductor stringing for transmission and distribution, live line work using hot sticks, and the care and use of hand and battery-powered tools.

Mike’s extensive field experience and industry knowledge position him to effectively lead Ampjack’s business development efforts, promoting the company’s innovative solutions.
